Introduce students to the skeletal anatomy and the identification of prey taken by the Barn Owl. Each treated Barn Owl pellet is from the wild and is unique in size and shape. Average size is approximately 1½” - 2”.
Our Barn Owl pellets have been inspected and approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. All of our owl pellets are handled and treated over and above their strict
guidelines of 72°C (128°F) for 30 minutes. Our pellets are heated to 150°C (300° F) for 1-2 hours.
